Lamazuna's Cocoon Solid Cleansing Bar is formulated for dry or sensitive skin, relieving tightness and sensitivity. This solid bar means you don't have to opt for creamy or milky products in plastic bottles; this solid cleanser is highly effective in preventing dryness with sweet almond oil and sunflower oil. White clay is included in the formula to soothe and repair skin.

The cleanser's hypoallergenic scent has the fragrance of the almond with soft notes.
Handmade in France, the cleanser has a wide disc shape that makes it easy to use. Lamazuna deploys a duo of surfactants to make the cleanser lather up perfectly.
Ingredients highlight:
A surfactant (sodium cocoyl isethionate) cleanses the face gently. This ingredient is plant-derived, but because the manufacturing process involves a chemical reaction, it cannot be certified organic. We chose this surfactant to avoid using sulphate surfactants that are harsh on your hair and the environment, as well as those with disappointing cleansing properties.
A secondary surfactant (coco-glucoside) is a mild secondary surfactant boosts the lather created by the sodium cocoyl isethionate.
Sweet almond oil (PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS OIL*) is rich in vitamins A and E, improving skin elasticity and suppleness. It prevents dryness and tightness often associated with dry skin.
Sunflower oil (HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SEED OIL*) softens and moisturises the skin, giving it radiance. It is also non-comedogenic so will not clog skin pores.
White clay (kaolin) softens and repairs dry and sensitive skin. Priority is given to kaolin from France, but it may also be sourced from Italy.
Corn starch (Zea Mays Starch) acts as a moisturising agent due to its hydroscopic properties.
Palmitic and stearic acids, which are fatty acids derived from olive oil, help to keep the cleanser solid and ensure a longer shelf life.
Tocopherol, a plant-derived antioxidant (Vitamin E), prevents the botanical oils from going rancid. It`s contained in sunflower oil. While this ingredient may seem insignificant, it actually plays an important role in the durability of the product.
Lactic acid is included to adjust the pH of the facial cleanser to the skin's natural pH (around 5.5).
Glyceryl Stearate is an emollient agent that assists in solidfying the formula, as well as moisturising and softening skin.

Instructions for use: Wet your face and the cleanser. Apply it directly to your face or lather it in your hands. Massage your face to cleanse thoroughly, and then rinse.
Use it in the evening and/or morning, and on a daily basis.
Storage: To ensure that your solid makeup cleanser lasts for as long as possible, look after it in the same way as our other solid products. Keep it dry between uses by placing it on a soap holder or in a small storage jar such as our Cosmetics Storage Jar.
