Lamazuna's Sensi'Smooth Shampoo is a certified organic and vegan solid shampoo designed especially for sensitive scalps. Using a winning combination of chaulmoogra oil and peony powder, the shampoo fights dandruff and calms irritated, damaged and flaking skin. The shampoo also contains French Lavandin grosso esential oil to alleviate itching, as well as Atlas cedar essential oil, which soothes irritated scalps and fights dandruff. These oils also create a fresh, green scent to fill your shower.
Lamazuna shampoos produce a generous lather and are incredibly easy to use with its wide disc shape that can be used directly on hair.
With a pH of 5.5-6.5, the shampoo is designed to harmonise wth the natural pH of your scalp.
Key Ingredients:
French organic sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus seed oil*) nourishes and protects the hair. We preferred to use this oil, rather than coconut oil, as it can be sourced in France.
Peony powder (paeonia officinalis root powder) relieves itching, making it ideal for irritated scalps.
Chaulmoogra oil (hydnocarpus laurifolia seed oil) has excellent antibacterial and antimycobacterial properties. It contains very specific unsaturated and cyclopentenic fatty acids (hydnocarpic, chaulmoogric and gorlic), which enables it to fight dandruff. It also soothes irritated, damaged and flaking skin.
Lavandin grosso essential oil (lavandula hybrida oil*) has calming, relaxing and healing properties.
Atlas cedar essential oil (cedrus atlantica bark oil*) fights hair loss, and also has a relaxing and comforting effect, soothing irritatede scalps and fighting dandruff.
A surfactant (sodium cocoyl isethionate) cleans the hair while being gentle on the scalp. This ingredient is plant-derived, but because the manufacturing process involves a chemical reaction, it cannot be certified organic. We chose this surfactant to avoid using sulphate surfactants that are harsh on your hair and the environment, as well as those with disappointing cleansing properties.
A secondary surfactant (coco-glucoside) boosts the lather created by the sodium cocoyl isethionate.
Palmitic and stearic acids, which are fatty acids derived from olive oil, help to keep the shampoo solid and make it last.
White clay (kaolin) is used for its purifying and deep-cleansing properties. Priority is given to kaolin from France, but it may also be sourced from Italy.
Tocopherol, a plant-derived antioxidant (Vitamin E), prevents the botanical oils from going rancid. It`s contained in sunflower oil. While this ingredient may seem insignificant, it actually plays an important role in the durability of the product.

Instructions for use: Wet your hair, moisten the shampoo and apply with hands or by rubbing the disc on your scalp. Massage to create a lather, then rinse well. Not suitable for children under age of 5. Do not ingest shampoo bar. Keep the shampoo bar dry between uses so it lasts longer. Consider using Lamazuna's magnetic soap holder to keep your shampoo solid dry.
