Miessence Certified Organics Magnesia of Milk Ultra Sensitive Roll-on Deodorant

Miessence Certified Organics Milk of Magnesia roll-on deodorant has an effective formula that enables all-day freshness, even for very active people. It is free from bicarbonate of soda for the minority who react to the bicarbonate of soda, with milk of magnesia used as an effective alternative. 

The formula is based upon the traditional method of using aloe vera to soothe and milk of magnesia to deodorise. If you prefer the old formula with bicarbonate of soda as an active ingredient, Miessence's Tahitian Breeze or Ancient Spice Deodorants are still based on this formula with no plans to change.

The deodorant is completely free of aluminium, parabens linked to breast cancer or indeed any harmful synthetic chemicals, as with all Miessence products.

Our bicarb soda deodorants that trail-blazed the natural deodorant industry almost 2 decades ago have been amongst our most popular products. Most recently, at the request of people who couldn’t tolerate any level of essential oils, we introduced our Aroma-Free deodorant version. Whilst it has enjoyed success amongst it’s fans, there are still some who either cannot tolerate the bicarb soda, or find it ineffective. So I went on a mission to find another formula to offer people who couldn’t use the bicarb soda base at all. Enter the wonder-mineral magnesium! A cursory glance at the internet will reveal the popularity of using commercial Milk of Magnesia (MoM) as a deodorant. Unfortunately, commercial MoM contains sodium hypochlorite (bleach) as a preservative (umm, yes… somewhat undesirable) so I just went straight to the active ingredient: magnesium hydroxide, which is a effective active ingredient, without aluminium, that is still extremely gentle on the skin. So, we are very excited to announce the launch of our new deodorant formula based on magnesium. So, if you can’t use or don’t like our bicarb soda deodorants, we now have another option for you!
